What to look for in your disposable vape.

Disposable vapes are all the rage. It’s currently the most used form of vape in the market. Its ease of use, intense flavours and a strong nicotine hit make it a convenient method to quit smoking or get your nicotine fix. I would like to point out what makes a high-quality disposable device as well as what makes a reliable disposable value for money.

Here are our 5 points to help you pick the correct disposable

1. The amount of Juice in the device

It’s essential to find the correct amount of juice that corresponds to the right number of puffs. Consider a disposable that contains 6 ML of juice, which is the ideal amount for 2000-2500 puffs. If you look at the back of the box and it says 3000 to 4000 puffs it might be time to look for a new brand. Of course, this is not considering the battery capacity.

2.  It’s a juice-to-battery ratio

The battery also plays a huge role in the number of puffs you can get out of a device. As a vaper, you need to ensure the battery correctly corresponds to the amount of liquid in the device otherwise one of two things might happen. In the first scenario, you run out of juice and get a burn (dry hit) taste, which means the juice ran out, but the battery is still going and in the second scenario your device dies quickly way under the recommended number of puffs and much quicker than you anticipated. We call that the dreaded blinking light.

3. Get that quality E-liquid

Juice has always played a huge role in your vaping experience; a very sweet juice can shorten the lifespan of a device while amplifying the flavour while a juice with lower sweetness can give you a harsher inhale. Overly icy juice can also irritate people but provide a refreshing sensation. It’s a subjective issue as we all have different tastes in flavour. It’s also worthwhile knowing the origin of the juice that is on the inside as some disposables hold premium juices from the USA and UK while the majority contain juices manufactured by Chinese companies.

4. Don’t underestimate a rechargeable disposable

Rechargeable disposables allow you to get the best bang for your buck. You can get the most use out of your disposable by using up all the juice and keeping the flavour fresh. I understand the frustration of recharging them, but there is always a trade-off.

5. Cheaper is not always better.

Ask yourself why something is cheaper, and there is always a trade-off. It works in the same way as many products we purchase and use every day and which differ in price. In the quality over quantity analogy, a 3000-puff cheap device will not last as long as one made from higher quality material. The difference in the value is noticeable over a long-time frame “Value for your Buck”.
